GlobeRanger Asset Tracker

Asset Tracker GlobeRanger allows you to easily locate, identify and manage your inventory across a variety of internal and external locations.

Supporting powerful Automatic Identification and Data Capture (AIDC) technologies including RFID, QR codes, barcodes combined with GPS data to give you a truly flexible asset tracking capability.

Locations – Create new storage locations for assets and identify them using geo-fences, RFID, barcode / QR code or a combination of these Automatic Identification Technologies (AIT).

Asset Commissioning – Enter your asset details, associate them with an RFID tag, barcode or QR code, optionally assign the asset to a location and you are ready to go.

Inventory Check – Verify if all your assets are where they belong. Keep track of missing and misplaced assets throughout your facilities.

Find Item – Use searching and filtering to select an asset and navigate to its last seen location. Use the Proximity Scanner to find an RFID tagged asset.

Offline operation – Asset tracking activities can be performed even when there is no mobile or Wi-Fi signal. Data is safely stored on the device and synchronized to other devices once connectivity is available.

Web Portal - In addition to the Android mobile client, Asset Tracker also has a web portal.

The portal allows for:

• Inventory reporting
• Setup and management of your assets and asset types
• Setup and management of locations, including geo-fences
• User management

RFID Support

Asset Tracker can run on any compatible Android handset. For RFID support, the following devices are currently supported:

• Zebra MC3330R – Integrated UHF RFID reader
• Nordic ID EXA51e – Bluetooth external UHF RFID reader
• Additional devices can be supported, so please contact us if you have a specific device in mind.
