HPCBOX delivers supercomputing capability to any PC running Microsoft® Windows® 10 and higher. With built-in intelligent workflow capability, HPC cloud infrastructure can be plugged into your application pipeline giving fine grained control on your HPC cloud resources. HPCBOX combines cloud infrastructure, applications and managed services to bring supercomputer technology to your personal computer.

The following applies to this offering:

• Tools for configuring the license server settings are provided on the HPCBOX cluster and support to set up a VPN tunnel can be provided upon request.
• ANSYS applications can be used in distributed parallel mode over a high speed RDMA network and with their native full featured GUI. NVIDIA GPUs are used to provide accelerated remote graphics technology for optimal 3D experience.
• ANSYS Fluent, CFX, CFD-Post and Structures can be launched as standalone applications and from within ANSYS Workbench, letting users take advantage of the fully interactive HPCBOX desktop experience and use ANSYS products just as they would on their local workstations.
• Optimized for complex simulation scenarios like System Coupling.
• The HPC cluster can be scaled-out/scaled-in from within ANSYS Workbench using the HPCBOX Connector for Workbench and from within HPCBOX-CLUSTER-APP. Both compute and GPU workers can be added/removed/started/shutdown on-the-fly.
