WTW Custom Filter

The WTW Custom Filter is a custom numeric input slicer designed by WTW France for Power BI. Built using Node.js, this visual enables users to manually enter and filter numeric values across extremely large ranges, from -999,999,999.99 to 999,999,999.99, while maintaining high performance and precision. Unlike Power BI’s native parameters, the WTW Custom Filter splits numeric inputs into four components and recomposes them via DAX measures, significantly reducing the underlying data volume and improving report responsiveness. The solution ensures that all user interactions and filter states are processed and stored locally within Power BI, without transmitting any data externally, ensuring full privacy and compliance with Microsoft Power BI standards.
