SPAN (SharePoint Automation and Notifications)

SPAN provides notifications and automation to your SharePoint list items and documents. You can specify which list and which items you would like to use. You then can send an email to specified users by sending either 1 email per item or a summary email. You can also start workflows and set field values. Use this solution if you want better notifications, conditional workflows, and setting fields when certain items match your query. You can use this to replace and enhance the SharePoint records management system.
