Manage Azure Data Box Gateway virtual device
Use Azure Data Box Gateway to seamlessly send data to Azure for cloud archival, disaster recovery, or to process data at cloud scale. The virtual device resides in your premises and is based on a virtual machine provisioned in your hypervisor. You write data to this device via the NFS or SMB protocols and the device transfers your data to Azure block blob, page blob, or Azure Files.
Data Box Gateway virtual devices can be configured and managed via the Azure portal.
