Teams Phone Deployment Accelerator

The Teams Phone Deployment Accelerator is a structured engagement designed to fast-track the deployment and adoption of Microsoft Teams Phone. It follows a modular approach built around three core phases—Plan, Deploy, and Manage & Extend—each offering flexible activity modules that can be tailored to your organization’s needs.

1. Plan Objective: Confirm readiness and define deployment scope.

• Assess telephony infrastructure, network, and licensing.
• Identify user roles, calling needs, and high-value use cases.
• Define measurable success criteria and address policies for number management, emergency calling, and regulatory compliance.

2. Deploy Objective: Execute migration and onboard users.

• Configure Teams Phone features such as Auto Attendants, Call Queues, and PSTN connectivity.
• Assign or port numbers based on user and location requirements.
• Enable Teams Phone for users and deliver training for IT admins and end users.

3. Manage & Extend Objective: Support adoption and uncover managed services opportunities.

• Monitor performance using Teams Admin Center and Call Quality Dashboard (CQD).
• Gather user feedback and refine configurations.
• Provide ongoing enablement and identify opportunities to scale or integrate advanced features.

This engagement is offered in different sizes. Engagement sizes are categorized based on the number of purchased seats for Teams. Each size has corresponding minimum hours required for the delivery of this engagement:

• Medium (M): 40 hours
• Large (L): 80 hours
