This POC consists of multiple steps:

  • Introduction to Azure Arc-enabled Data Services
  • Introduction to Kubernetes
  • Discussion on current landscape, data size and requirements on customer end
  • Sizing recommendation for the POC system to be provided by the customer (alternatively the POC can be deployed and evaluated on cloud infrastructure)
  • Deployment of Kubernetes, Azure Arc-enabled Data Services and an Azure Arc-enabled SQL Managed Instance
  • Restore of customer data for testing purposes
  • Handover of all scripts and configurations used
