ALTR Data Security Dashboard

Overview: The purpose of the Data Security Dashboard is to identify and quantify the risks associated with company's data security posture. This dashboard will help identify data assets that have not been properly categorized as sensitive and data that has been identified as sensitive but has not had the proper monitoring and/or active security controls applied to it. Personas: The primary user of this dashboard is the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) or any executive responsible for data security and risk management. Customer need and pain point: The dashboard addresses a critical pain point for the CISO: ensuring the security and compliance of sensitive data. The main challenges include: 1) Uncertainty over data sensitivity classification: Determining which data is sensitive and ensuring that all such data is appropriately categorized and handled. 2) Lack of monitoring and active protection: Identifying data that may not have sufficient monitoring or security controls in place, increasing exposure to potential breaches.
