Risk Matrices are used globally by project managers to manage risk across diverse industries, from cyber security to mining.
The Risk Matrix Viz allows business users to accelerate the visualisation of a risk matrix and bypass tedious setups.

🚀 Key Features

• Effortless Drag & Drop:
  Quickly create a risk matrix by simply dragging and dropping fields from your dataset. No more complicated configurations!
• Flexible Grid Dimensions:
  The Risk Matrix Viz dimensions can be customised to suit your needs. Most project management users opt for 3x3, 4x4, or 5x5, but the option is yours — up to a maximum of 9x9 matrix cells.
  Unconventional layouts such as 9x3 or 4x7 are also supported.
  Risk Levels are set independently of Rows and Columns for maximum flexibility. Set your own number of Risk Levels and name them to suit your case.
• Dynamic Color Customization:
  🎨 Turn on Use Gradient Colors to view a color transition from low to high in gradient style as an alternative to solid colors.
  Add a customisable Data Circle, change the color of your data values, make them bold or underlined.
  Default colors are AAA-rated for contrast and accessibility, but you can apply your own colors manually, or use conditional formatting with a DAX measure or rules.
• Drill Through Functionality:
  Set up a drill-through page and right-click on a matrix cell to view the detailed data behind that aggregation.
• Extensive Formatting Options:
  Customise axes, add title backgrounds, adjust matrix cell sizes, add grid lines or rounded edges, and more.

⚙️ Getting Started

1. Import from AppSource:
   Add the latest version from Microsoft AppSource and download the sample file.
2. Drag & Drop Your Data:
   Add the necessary fields from your dataset to populate the matrix.
3. Customize Your Experience:
   • Configure matrix dimensions and risk levels
   • Choose colors manually or apply DAX-based formatting
   • Adjust headers, grid lines, cell padding, and more
4. Analyze & Act:
   Leverage the Risk Matrix Viz to identify, analyze, and mitigate risks effectively.
