Spreadsheet users can now submit their UK VAT returns to HMRC and be compliant for Make Tax Digital.

HMRC now require VAT returns to be digitally calculated and produced. With Spreadsheet MTD you can submit your VAT return provided your accounts are fully maintained and totalled on an Excel spreadsheet. Simply select the cells that contain the values that HMRC require. No special accounts program is needed, saving additional costs and preserves the way you worked with spreadsheets before Make Tax Digital regulations were introduced. Suitable for any industry.

Users of SpreadsheetMTD require a SpreadsheetMTD account and also a HMRC account in order to use the add-in and successfully submit their VAT returns.
