Implement Azure Arc and Microsoft Defender to manage on-premises servers

Netsurit has developed a comprehensive solution to manage your on-premises datacenter using the powerful management and security tools inside Microsoft Azure. This will enable you to improve the performance, reliability, availability and security of your existing environment without requiring you to move the workloads to Azure. The solution supports Windows and Linux servers on bare-metal, Hyper-V, VMware or other hypervisors. This solution can also be extended to manage servers in other hyperscaler cloud such as AWS or GCP.

Based on our extensive experience with managing on-premises environments, we can implement an effective solution with minimal disruption

The hybrid management solution will consist of

• Azure Arc: Allow on-premises Windows and Linux servers to be viewed and managed centrally from Azure in the same way as Azure VM's
• Microsoft Defender for Cloud: Will enable comprehensive XDR threat protection and vulnerability management for on-premises Windows and Linux servers
• VM Insights in Azure Monitor: Will enable centralised monitoring and log collection for on-premises Windows and Linux servers, to enable proactive capacity management, performance management and troubleshooting
• Azure Update Manager: Will manage operating system updates for your Windows and Linux servers. Azure Policy will enforce configuration settings on on-premises server, it can be used to automate configuration tasks and enforce compliance
