Application Modernization Assessment - 1 Week

WHAT DOES THIS ASSESSMENT INCLUDE: This assessment aims to deliver a modernization-roadmap covering Microservices, Server-less platform and Platform as a Service including following: • Database Modernization (Azure SQL Managed Instance or Azure SQL Database) • Web Application Modernization (Azure App Service, Containers) • DevOps Practice Modernization (Azure DevOps)

3. MIGRATE: Develop a roadmap for your organization’s cloud journey • Analyze the cost of migration to the cloud • Create a comprehensive modernization strategy to a production-ready PaaS solution

4. OPTIMIZE: Measure your progress • Track and achieve milestones using custom migration plans • Establish a utilization baseline for assessing progress over time

PLAN AND DELIVERABLES:

1. Information gathering and applications discovery (tools, meetings, and interviews)
2. Analysis and Categorization of application for migration a. Lift & Shift / As-Is migration (Rehost, Re-platform) b. Optimize or Modernize (Re-Architect) c. No change (Retain) d. Expire (Retire)
3. Establish modernization plan for each assessed application (including suitable alternatives - if applicable).
4. Deliver an executive summary and modernization roadmap report including a. Estimated TCO on cloud b. Estimated modernization efforts
5. Wrap-up and Agreement on next steps.
