This solution supports your project managers in their responsibility to track efforts that have been booked to the tasks of a project.
An UI component provides a list of all tasks and their original estimated effort. Additional fields show how much the original estimation has already been reduced by chargeable and non-chargeable booked hours (Time Entries) as well as not yet submitted “preview” hours. Calculated columns then indicate how much of your time budget has been consumed already and based on an entered degree of fulfilment how many hours you will have left after completion of the task.
Automatic background calculations make sure that all numbers are correct at any time.
Export the whole table as you see it to Excel.
