Stay EUDR-Compliant with Ease
EUDR Compliance, Simplified
The EUDR app for PrintVis helps European print companies meet the requirements of the EU Deforestation Regulation.
It tracks due diligence
statements for all EUDR-covered materials—such as paper, ink, and other wood-derived products—directly in your Business Central
environment.
With built-in lot tracking, vendor compliance status, and
geolocation data support, it ensures your products are legally produced,
deforestation-free, and fully traceable. This reduces compliance risk, saves
administrative time, and keeps your business ready for audits.
When a company consumes or places products on the EU market that are
covered by the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR), it must comply
with strict due diligence requirements.
Here’s what a company must provide:
1. Due Diligence Statement
Before placing a product on the EU market (or exporting it), the company must submit a due diligence statement through an EU information system declaring that:
· The product is deforestation-free
· It was legally produced (complying with the laws of the country of origin)
· The company has exercised adequate due diligence
This is a legal obligation, and without this statement, the product cannot be marketed or exported in the EU.
2. Due Diligence Process (Three Key Components)
a. Information Collection
b. Risk Assessment
c. Risk Mitigation
3. Traceability
The company must be able to trace the product back to its source, specifically to the plot(s) of land where it was produced. This requires robust supply chain transparency and monitoring systems, including geolocation data (e.g., GPS coordinates).
4. Record Keeping
Companies must keep documentation of the due diligence process for at least 5 years, and make it available to competent authorities upon request.
