Microsoft Copilot Studio Governance

Microsoft Copilot Studio Governance is a Microsoft 365 professional services engagement that helps customers get started with — and extend their use of — Microsoft Copilot Studio and Microsoft Power Platform. The engagement provides governance expertise, capabilities and know-how that customers typically do not have in-house or need to augment, supporting them to design and operationalise a governance model for Microsoft Copilot Studio aligned to existing Microsoft Power Platform controls and organisational policies. The engagement combines baseline assessment, licensing and billing guidance, configuration decision-making, Microsoft Copilot Studio Kit enablement and Microsoft Power BI reporting development to support accountable oversight of agents, data policies and capacity.

Detailed agenda

Phase 1 — Initiation and baseline

• Initiation and programme cadence: confirm scope, objectives, sequencing and access requirements
• Baseline governance discovery and playback: governance survey, environment structure review, data policy review, licensing review and existing monitoring practices, consolidated into a Baseline Governance Dashboard
• Licensing, capacity and billing overview: advisory session covering licence types, capacity behaviour, trial usage and billing options for Microsoft Copilot Studio

Phase 2 — Governance design and enablement

• Governance Control Room design workshops: tenant, environment and agent-level decisions documented in a Governance Decision Dashboard, with cadence, artefacts and forums to operate the Control Room
• Microsoft Copilot Studio Kit enablement: guided enablement of the Microsoft Power CAT Microsoft Copilot Studio Kit covering agent inventory, compliance monitoring, testing insights and conversation analytics
• Roles and responsibilities definition: governance roles, decision rights and meeting cadence across tenant, environment and agent scopes

Phase 3 — Reporting

• Microsoft Copilot reporting and dashboard development: requirements scoping, Microsoft Power BI dashboard build using customer-provided data, and validation playback
