Azure Synapse to Microsoft Fabric Migration

This service enables customers to migrate existing Azure Synapse Analytics workloads to Microsoft Fabric, consolidating data engineering, data integration, and analytics into a single SaaS-based platform. Customers using Synapse often manage multiple services such as SQL pools, Spark pools, and pipelines independently, which can increase operational complexity and cost.

Tech Data assesses the current Synapse environment, including SQL pools, Spark notebooks, and orchestration pipelines, and maps them to equivalent Microsoft Fabric workloads such as Fabric Warehouse, Lakehouse, notebooks, and Fabric Data Factory. The migration ensures continuity of analytics workloads while simplifying the overall architecture. Power BI integration becomes native and seamless through OneLake, eliminating data duplication and reducing latency.

By moving to Microsoft Fabric, customers benefit from a fully managed analytics platform with reduced infrastructure management, tighter integration across analytics workloads, and built-in readiness for Copilot and AI-driven insights.
