Turnkey’s DCAA Accelerator adds a focused set of GovCon capabilities to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations so you can segregate direct/indirect costs, control labor rates, automate indirect cost postings, and maintain an auditable timekeeping process—core expectations for DCAA aligned accounting.

What it does: • DCAA readiness out of the box. Aligns with common DCAA checklist items: GAAP adherence; consistent hourly labor rates from estimate to transaction; segregation of direct vs. indirect costs; accumulation of direct costs by contract; logical allocation of indirect costs; auditable timekeeping that calculates direct/indirect at approval; routine postings; management of allowable vs. unallowable costs; and identification of costs by CLIN/units. • Flexible GovCon project model. A Cost Plus option can be enabled at the top project or subproject level to trigger indirect cost calculations only where you need them—supporting mixed commercial/government portfolios in one tenant. • Labor rate control. Manage labor cost and bill rates “as of” date, by employee, work type, contract, and period; supports salary and hourly workers, including day rate scenarios. • Unlimited indirect cost concepts. Configure fringe, overhead, G&A, fees and more; support CONUS/OCONUS direct cost distinctions; manage payroll codes used for time posting and downstream payroll integration. • Cost pools, your way. Assign pool membership by project, contract, customer, or category—and calculate indirects using percent-based models with compounding rules and base amount selection (e.g., overhead on fringe). • Auditable timekeeping. Native Dynamics 365 timesheets with approval workflows and postings that compute and book direct and indirect components at the point of approval.
