Endpoint Manager: 5-Day Proof of Concept

This proof of concept is designed for those interested in pursuing modern desktop management capabilities for their Windows devices with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM). MEM includes the services and tools you need to deploy, manage, monitor and maintain mobile devices, desktop computers, virtual machines, applications and more.

During the proof of concept, Transparity will provide a deep dive into MEM capabilities, including:

• Device Enrolment, including Autopilot
• Device Compliance
• Device Configuration, including working alongside or migrating from Group Policy
• Application Deployment and Packaging
• Co-Management with SCCM (if applicable)
• Device Lifecycle, including wider management, retirement, and refresh.
• Windows Updates.

Agenda

• Day 1: Discovery via an interactive workshop to agree the scope and detail of the proof of concept deployment. This will be an opportunity for you to learn more about Endpoint Manager and ensure that suitable goals are set for the deployment.
• Days 2-3: :A focus on enabling Endpoint Manager capabilities to support Azure AD joined devices, including the creation of initial policies, configuration, and application packages in the service.
• Days 4-5: :The focus will turn to enrolling proof of concept devices. Further testing will be demonstrated including remote wipe and reset capabilities before handing the environment over to you. A closeout workshop will be held to discuss potential next steps, highlight successes and address additional opportunities that may be suitable.

Following the proof of concept you will have gained an understanding of Windows Device Management in addition to the enrolment and lifecycle capabilities within Endpoint Manager. Working with our expert you will have agreed and scoped a suitable POC deployment including Device Configuration & Compliance.
