Implementation of Microsoft Entra ID Governance

The Microsoft Entra ID suite of solutions provides all around identity solutions for both internal and external identities as part of Microsoft 365. The Spyglass Microsoft Entra ID Governance engagement delivers a way for customers to quickly take advantage of the full suite of products in Microsoft 365 across their environments. Each of these phases are worked into the engagement where each step corresponds to an increased level of automation, capabilities, and security for the targeted environment. Each included step is outlined in more detail below:

Envisioning: Spyglass works to assess and evaluate the existing configurations and solutions in the organization while helping to identity the specific business use cases and security and compliance requirements surround Identity Governance.

Design: Plan for critical elements including Change Management, Training, Adoption, and Communication. This phase also works to document out the specific requirements for Security and Compliance as well as those for meeting business use cases.

Implementation: This phase is where the design and decisions made I earlier phases are tested and implemented within the organization. This includes tenant hardening and the deployment of specific solutions such PIM, Entitlement Management, Conditional Access, Identity Protection, MFA, B2B, B2C, External Identities, Access Reviews, Private and Public Internet, etc.

Automate: Spyglass focuses this phase on being able to automate the management of tasks as much as possible and customize the employee experience through user lifecycle and onboarding/offboarding automation.

Additionally, Spyglass 365 can provide Identity Governance Management Tasks. These are ongoing services that provides weekly and monthly proactive device management tasks, such as reviewing reports, adding/updating applications, reviewing and fine-tuning policies, and creating new policies as necessary. This can also include integration with other services like Defender, Intune, and Purview.
