3 Stages of the Pilot:

• Planning. We will define your goals, requirements, and success criteria for the Pilot. We will also assess your current network, infrastructure, and devices readiness for Teams Phone.
• Deployment. We will configure and enable Teams Phone features and policies for a subset of users in your organization. We will also provision and assign phone numbers and licenses* to the Pilot users. You will also test and validate the functionality and quality of Teams Phone.

Scope:

1. Assessing the customer's current telephony environment and requirements, such as number of users, locations, devices, features, etc.
2. Designing a solution architecture that meets the customer's needs and aligns with the Microsoft Teams Phone best practices and recommendations.
3. Configuring the Microsoft Teams Phone service and settings in the customer's tenant, such as phone numbers, policies, voice routing, emergency calling, etc.
4. Deploying and testing the Teams devices and apps for a subset of users, such as pilot users or champions, and collecting feedback and metrics.
5. Evaluating the Pilot results and providing a report with findings, recommendations, and next steps for a full-scale deployment.
