Outline

The 5-day initiative will be used to determine the business drivers, assess your current functional and technical configuration, the feasibility of upgrading the existing customized code, the migration of data and identifying a potential path and plan for Business Application Modernization. We will discuss and agree on the assessment scope, with the intent to deliver a high level Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations readiness report for you to make an informed decision about moving forward with your Business Application Modernization.

Functional

• Review the current functional areas setup and business applications (may include a high-level licensing overview)

Customizations

• Review any current customizations, and determine which need to be updated/upgraded/eliminated

Reports

• Review any current AX/SSRS/Atlas reports, determine which need to be updated/upgraded/eliminated

Integration & Interfaces

• Review any current integrations, and determine which need to be updated/upgraded/eliminated

Data Migration

• Analyze and map external data sources, design and data load deployments.

Code Conversion

• Review and validate any code for conversion or re-write.

Deliverables By the end of the assessment the client will have a high-level Dynamics 365 Readiness report that may form the basis of a Microsoft Dynamics 365 for Finance and Operations modernization.
