Actionable plan and high-level view to move towards a successful Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) deployment and migration
The objective of this engagement is to provide our client with an actionable plan and high-level view to move towards a successful Microsoft Endpoint Manager (MEM) deployment and migration.
This is accomplished through architect level workshops of the capabilities of Endpoint Manager, discovery of current requirements and desired future state for provisioning, managing, and protecting endpoints and existing software that will impact decisions moving forward. Matched with our industry leading recommendations, Protiviti will create a Gap Analysis and Roadmap for planning, deployment, and migration to Microsoft Endpoint Manager.
Activities to be Completed: • Endpoint Engagement Initiation: Current state of endpoint management (Microsoft or 3rd party tool), Existing enterprise and organizational processes, policies, and solutions for security, compliance, and risk awareness as they relate to endpoints, Facilitate a kickoff call with Client stakeholders to review the questionnaire, provide a project overview, and discuss the goals and objectives for Endpoint Management.
• Endpoint Discovery Workshops: Conduct demonstration of MEM for awareness of its capabilities, Discuss Client’s current Endpoints applications, limitations and policies, Review dependencies on Client’s ongoing security projects and initiative, Discuss and review any existing documentation for desired future state policies and infrastructure
• Endpoint Future State Architecture: Required infrastructure, process, and technical modifications to support desired state, Software and capability Gaps to achieve desired state, High-level outline of MEM future state
• Endpoint Manager Roadmap & Presentation: Summary of the findings and results of the MEM workshops, High-level roadmap for Client’s short- and long-term approach for MEM , Based on the direction provided by the Client, Protiviti will provide a detailed proposal(s) for the next phases of Implementation including effort, scope, and priority
Output: • Future State Architecture for MEM • Software and Capability Gaps • High-Level Deployment Roadmap for MEM • Phase 1 estimate (optional)
