ESG Operating Model - 3 Week Assessment

Protiviti offers a set of different methods to assess the Sustainability & ESG performance of our clients, to determine whether requirements or objectives are being met and, if not, what steps should be taken to meet them.

Data ownership is often seen as an IT responsibility rather than a business responsibility. However, data owners need to understand the business meaning and context of the data. By formalizing ESG data collection, your organization will have clearly defined roles and responsibilities for ESG data management and will help mature your ESG program.

Activities to be Completed:

• Identify ESG stakeholders to understand changes in ESG data production & consumption Requirements
• Establish Target Operating Model that aligns with culture and values and capture dependencies, escalation paths, and roles
• Define specific and measurable ESG program goals to ensure sustainability considerations are integrated into core operations
• Establish operating framework for continuous improvement and ongoing monitoring of ESG reporting, development, and delivery

Deliverables: High-level design of Target Operating Model with aspects related to:

• Roles and Responsibilities
• Leadership and Governance
• Resource Allocation
• Change Management and Continuous Improvement
• Operational Reporting
