Credit Review Tool

Objective:

The Credit Review Tool builds on years of experience performing credit reviews for a range of clients across the financial services industry. This application, built on Power Platform and Dataverse, can be easily deployed to a client’s tenant giving them complete control over the data as well as the application. The client can customize the application to fit their needs using Dataverse, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. ​

Data and Application reside in the CLIENT’s tenant. The client has complete control over the application code and the data.​

How It Works:

The custom solution, which is deployed as a managed solution in the client’s tenant, allows the client to house, manage and aggregate line sheets in a single platform.

• Data Integration via imports from line of business systems.
• Data Analysis to evaluate data to make data-driven decisions and track progress and workloads
• Data Visualization to dynamically view performance data to uncover insights

The solution consists of the following components:

• Power Apps Canvas App to provide the interface to the user, allowing editing, assignment and creation of line sheets based on the user’s role.
• Power Automate Flows assist with data processing, imports and notifications.
• Power BI reports and dashboards provide visualization of the data.

Activities to be Completed:

Preparation of an environment

• Have the security groups necessary for the application provisioned
• Create and configure the environment utilizing the security groups and recommended settings for auditing

Deploy the solution

• Import the solution and set up configuration specific to the client’s tenant
• Import data and educate stakeholders on the data model and what is required to
• import their own data.
• Provide guidance on access control into the app and the security roles

Knowledge Transfer

• Review the solution components
• Review the managed/unmanaged solutions
• Walk through updating the Power BI visuals

Output:

• Documentation on the configuration of the application and environment
• Managed and unmanaged solutions, ready for deployment
• Notes and slides on how to deploy and how to customize the application
