Moving to Teams drives great cost savings and efficiencies. In order to harness these, it is essential that your company has a clear understanding of the features and functionality on your legacy system. Then you need to understand how those features map to Teams. We will work with the relevant stakeholders and systems in your business to collect the information that is key to a successful on-boarding and migration. This will include mapping the existing functionality that users have today, or require in Microsoft Teams, to enable a smooth transition from one system to the other. Resonate follows its established Teams Endpoint Mapping methodology which identifies the users that can easily move to Teams, along with other features such as common area phones, Analogue lines, Emergency Phones and Hunt Groups. We then map these to their Teams equivalent so that you can optimise your cost savings and drive your existing voice to retirement. The extent of legacy mapping work will depend upon the type of implementation e.g.

Greenfield: The data gathering phase will be to determine the user requirements, mainly around call queues and auto attendant requirements.

Skype for Business: The data gathering phase will be to determine what existing features are setup on SfB for users and whether they can be rationalised and/or still meet the requirements

Legacy PBX: The data gathering phase will be to determine what existing features are setup on the legacy PBX for users and whether they can be rationalised and/or still meet the requirements

The output of this phase is an agreed design document.
