Sustainability Envisioning Workshop: 90 minutes: Workshop

The UK government has committed to the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is encouraging local government and public sector organisations to support delivery against two thirds of the targets. As public services impact on both the environmental and social challenges faced by the UK, you have a crucial role in helping to achieve these targets by 2030. To support these goals, you must change behaviours within your organisation, and technology and data solutions are vital in helping you deliver this.

What to expect?

• A review of your sustainability strategy
• An exploration of your environmental data insights and Microsoft Cloud carbon accounting tools
• An overview of your teams, policies, and environmental governance
• A look at your use of Microsoft Azure and cloud technologies to extend your capabilities to decarbonise IT
• A demonstration of a carbon accounting Microsoft Power App to record, report and track reduction of carbon emissions in your organisation
• An introduction into how smart technology and the Internet of Things (IoT) connected to Microsoft Azure supports your sustainability goal
• An overview of Microsoft 365 technologies and how they can help you to deliver green-er services, changing processes and delivering value for money from your Microsoft licensing

Our Sustainability briefing is run remotely over Microsoft Teams.
