Microsoft Defender Secure Score, Security Licensing and Security Skill Optimization

This engagement provides a review of your Microsoft Defender Secure Score across your Identity, Data, Devices and Apps. We provide prescriptive guidance on how to optimize your configuration to maximize your score as the deliverable for this engagement.

Deliverables

• Review existing scoring of DFE Secure Score in each scoring category: Identity, Data, Devices, and Apps.
• Provide a prioritized list of optimization recommendations of Microsoft 365, Entra, Defender for Endpoint, Defender for Cloud Apps, Defender for Office, Defender for Identity, Intune, Device, and Conditional Access Improvements based on impact and business context. Recommendations which require significant deployment effort will be noted.
• Recommend implementation of currently licensed workloads/functionality that could be leveraged to immediately increase Secure Score and cybersecurity posture.
• Review current skilling of employees and recommend appropriate training to better leverage current and future licensed security workloads.
• License review of existing and potential Microsoft products which could be acquired to improve cybersecurity posture.

This is a weeklong remote engagement delivered via mulitple exploratory meetings. There will be a written report delivered 1 week after the exploratory phase of the engagement is complete.
