Microsoft Intune is a cloud-based endpoint management solution. It manages user access to organizational resources and simplifies app and device management.
Over the course of one month, our project, tentatively named Intune Deployment, will embark on a meticulously planned journey through various phases. Commencing with internal kickoff meetings and customer engagement calls, we will swiftly delve into defining project scope and timelines, culminating in the preparation of a comprehensive project plan.
As we progress, our focus will shift towards Azure Active Directory setup, followed by the meticulous configuration of Intune for device management. Concurrently, workshops will be conducted to ensure seamless management of both personal computers and mobile devices, catering to both company-owned and BYOD scenarios.
Our timeline underscores our commitment to delivering a robust solution tailored to our client's needs.
Week 1: Project Planning and Kickoff
Days 1-2: Internal D4 Kick Off (call), Define project scope and timelines. Days 3-4: Customer Kick Off (call), Discuss Types of Devices to be managed. Days 5-7: Schedule Technical Project Kick off calls, Prepare draft project plan. Week 2: Azure Active Directory Setup
Days 8-10: Azure Active Directory Completion, Discovery call, Azure Active Directory SSO. Days 11-14: Azure Ad Connect, Azure AD Multi-Factor Authentication deployment, Conditional Access. Week 3: Intune Setup and Configuration
Days 15-17: Intune Setup completion, Confirm MDM DNS requirements completed by customer. Days 18-21: Set the MDM authority, Discuss Corporate Apple ID and Android Enterprise Accounts naming convention. Week 4: Application Deployment and Finalization
Days 22-24: Smart Applications Deployment, Line of Business Applications Deployment. Days 25-28: Autopilot Feature Overview and Setup, Administrative Template Overview. Days 29-30: Final Testing, Deployment Validation, Documentation Review, Project Closure.

Microsoft Intune supports Android, Android Open Source Project (AOSP), iOS/iPadOS, Linux Ubuntu Desktop, macOS, and Windows client devices. With Intune, you can use these devices to securely access organization resources with policies you create.
