Adoption & change management starts from the human side, of any change, in an organization whether you are solving problems, or implementing new solutions in Microsoft 365. It ensures that the entire team follows the new direction of adopting new productivity tools within Microsoft 365 (e.g. Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive). Therefore, it is not only important to deliver projects with a good vision and technical implementation, but it is equally important to consider the needs, expectations and feelings of the end-users who are involved.

Practice shows us that user adoption, for Microsoft 365, is mainly seen as the use of communication and training activities. Many e-mails with information are sent during a change and one or more trainings are also made available for different employees. However, user adoption is more than sending e-mails and providing trainings. If we want to deliver a successful Microsoft 365 project, it is very important to clearly define the actual needs of the change management program by determining in advance which target groups are involved, which trainings and communication messages are required.

To deliver successful Microsoft 365 solutions (e.g. collaboration in Teams, intranet...) it is therefore important to define a proper adoption strategy. It is recommended that a preliminary study is carried out. This study includes the best practices which are relevant for your organization. Our methodology is based on the Prosci framework and ADKAR approach.

Scope:

  1. Change assessment workshop in order to define the change readiness of your organization.
  2. Group impact assessment workshop is used it to assess the impact of Microsoft 365 on each group and the unique culture and values that determine the readiness of that group for the change.
