Bytes Managed Workspace: 5 Day Workshop

Bytes Managed Workspace (BMW) is a device and application management professional service designed to underpin modern and flexible working. It gives organisations the power to deliver productivity-boosting desktop experiences to users everywhere, whilst alleviating the burden, complexity and overhead from internal teams. BMW can be completely tailored to meet the specific needs of your organisation.

The BMW offering has several phases. The initial phase will be a workshop delivered by a senior Systems Architect and aims to educate customers on the various functional elements of the following Microsoft infrastructure technologies:

• Microsoft Windows 10/11 and/or Windows 365
• Microsoft Endpoint Manager
• Microsoft Intune
• Windows Autopilot
• System Center Configuration Manager/SCCM (Optional)
• Azure Active Directory

The sessions include technical and non-technical presentations suitable for IT professionals and non-technical team leaders.

Agenda for the 5 day workshop includes:
Day 1 - Modern management overview and demo and discovery
Day 2- Functional high level design
Day 3 - implementation planning
Day 4 - Service operations planning and financial planning
Day 5 - adoption and change management

The next phase of the BMW service is onboarding onto the actual Managed Service. This consists of service options including Surface device acquisition and rollout, Windows 10/11 patch management, 365 application deployment and patching, security policy configuration and monitoring, as well as support for end user adoption and change management. The BMW service offers a 1st - 3rd line service. This service builds on Bytes’ extensive Microsoft technology, consulting and training experience and accreditations.
