Power BI Dashboard - 6 Week POC

Our 6 week Power BI POC focuses on a practical deployment of data solutions to capture insights and drive business value. Getting the balance between immediate tangible return and doing things properly to ensure we’re preparing the group for the future.

Mobilisation:

• This allows us to ensure we are aligned with your priorities and ways of working. This will focus on ensuring that we have the right resources at the right time to allow for successful project delivery.
• Our experience has taught us that we can make faster and more efficient progress if we take the time at the outset to ensure we are working on the right challenges, with the right solution, delivered by the right team, in the right way.
• Mobilising will ensure we are aligned on where your priorities lie and what success means to you. This involves getting to know your team and how you currently work, understanding where you are on your journey and what accesses we need. Getting started requires action and energy, but also direction – getting it wrong means rework and lost momentum.

Phase 1: Initial Deep Dive & Scoping The workstream will begin with initial scoping which will cover the following:

• Confirmation and prioritization of requirements, scoping deliverables and value case.
• Quantify and score use cases on data access/availability, effort and feasibility to ensure use case selected is appropriate.
• Review current data solution and dashboard to assess planned and in flight activities.

Phase 2: Build

• A core team organized around the execution of the dashboard roadmap will accelerate the delivery. We will work agilely to ensure transparency, adaptability and continuous learning. Having taken the time up front to define key requirements will prevent frequent changes and allow us to develop iteratively to retain key flexibility.
• Our approach and ways of working are designed to deliver value and ensure user adoption. We engage stakeholders throughout, capturing their input and feedback so that solutions satisfy the needs of the business and contribute to positive change.

The key principles in this phase are:

• Development of technical solutions built with user requirements and usability at the forefront.
• A decoupled architecture which is optimized for scale and cost and evolves to meet future use cases or changing demands.
• Project management to ensure successful solution development and implementation.
