Microsoft 365 Defender Assessment: 2 Week Assessment

Defender Assessment Objectives:

• Review and comply with Client's security requirements including Microsoft security recommendations. • Evaluate Client's current Microsoft 365 Defender (limited to specific Microsoft 365 Defender services) configuration and implementation. • Make recommendations to improve Client's security posture and optimize the total cost of ownership.

Big Green IT will develop, present, and deliver the following as part of this project:

• Completion of milestones as listed. • Assessment Findings and Recommendations report. • Optional Execution Document. (additional cost)

Defender Assessment Milestones:

• Project Planning: Verify Microsoft 365 licensing, establish a Project Plan with issue escalation and resolution, and obtain access to Microsoft 365 and local infrastructure environments as needed.

• Discovery and Assess Microsoft 365 Defender: Conduct a comprehensive assessment of the existing implementations of Microsoft 365 Defender (limited to certain Microsoft 365 Defender services), gather precise data from Client's Microsoft 365 Secure Score, analyze the data, document the findings, provide an overview of Microsoft 365 Defender services, present highlighted risks and recommendations for improvement.

• Discuss and Plan: Identify the highest-priority changes, compile a list of recommendations, and discuss the findings with Client's IT staff.

• Project Completion: Review deliverables and acknowledge project completion
